Who is BuzzRunner

At BuzzRunner Honey, nestled in the picturesque Adelaide Hills of Forest Range, my beekeeping journey began in 2017 after spotting a native blue-banded bee in my garden. That single encounter ignited a lifelong passion for all things buzzy. What started with one hive soon grew into a thriving apiary as I collected swarms, performed cut-outs, and transformed a hobby into a full-time vocation.

Inspired by the remarkable buzz-runner bee, described by Dr. Thomas Seeley as the catalyst within the hive that sparks action and guides the swarm, I aim to embody the same spirit in my work. Just like the buzz-runner energizes the colony and sets things in motion, BuzzRunner Honey is about leading with purpose and care—whether it’s producing raw, small-batch honey, mentoring new beekeepers, or tending to hives on behalf of others.

To back this passion with knowledge, I completed a Certificate III in Beekeeping, covering core skills from hive management to honey production. I am also in the final stages of a three-year Master Beekeeper program through the University of Florida Extension, deepening my expertise in advanced apiculture practices to benefit both bees and the community.

At BuzzRunner Honey, I’m more than just a beekeeper—I’m a steward of nature, an educator, and a trusted provider of premium bee products. I am committed to delivering 100% Australian honey, beeswax, beehives, nucleus colonies (nucs), queens, and tailored mentoring services to help others thrive in their own beekeeping journeys.

With every jar, every hive, and every session, I bring the energy of the buzz-runner to life—motivated, proactive, and here to keep the buzz alive.
