5 Frame Nucleus Colony - Delivered*
*Delivered means - within a 30-minute drive of Forest Range, SA. The delivery fee is already added to the price.
In the carefully packaged 5-frame Nuc, you receive a thriving mini-colony poised and ready to establish itself within your apiary. Each nuc contains five meticulously curated frames filled with a rich mix of brood, honey, and pollen, ensuring your new hive's healthy and vibrant start. The queens are marked and generally between 2 - 12 months old. This vigorous young queen will aid in the success and productivity of a colony. This Nuc is thoughtfully designed to provide a significant jumpstart to your beekeeping journey, offering a balanced and robust foundation for your apiary.
Due to my queens being open-mated here in the Adelaide Hills, I do not define them as a particular breed. They are for all purposes Adelaide Hill Bees that show local vigour and are selected for their thrive and survive mentality and their calm demeanour.
Where possible, the 4 frames of brood will be mostly capped brood and the 1 food frame will be a mix of nectar/honey and pollen
